A Fly
Likely origin Only the designer's own account on his guide-service site; no independent source found for the date or design story.
History
A small foam deer-fly imitation. Kraimer says he came up with it one summer when trout were refusing his flies while deer flies were biting him, and the name came from his stock answer when people asked what he had caught them on. He often runs a Trico off the bend.
