Au Sable King

Disputed origin Credited to Ann Schweigert, Frank Cupp, and Clem Thompson.

History

A general caddis imitation from the Au Sable, with a peacock body and grizzly hackle-tip wings laid tent-style over the back.

At least three people are credited with it: Ann Schweigert of Jack's Rod & Fly Shop in Roscommon, Frank Cupp, and Clem Thompson. One Michigan fly historian doubts Ann originated any pattern, so this page leaves the question open.
