Back Half Baitfish
Likely origin Only the designer's own account on his guide-service site; no independent source found for the date or design story.
History
Kraimer says this began as the rear section of an articulated streamer. He liked the finished back half on its own, never tied the front, and refined it on the water into a small, slow-sinking baitfish fly that suggests log perch and similar Midwestern forage for trout and smallmouth.
