Unverified origin Only the Michigan Dry Flies archive supports the tyer, place and date; no public source was found.
History
The Michigan Dry Flies archive credits this fly to Jeff Bonin of North Muskegon, who is said to have tied it around 1987 under the name Steelhead Connection Custom Flies. No public source found so far confirms the tyer, the business or the date.
As the archive describes it, it is a big Hex dry built like a Trude, with a single white calftail wing laid back over a poly yarn body, a moose tail and mixed grizzly and brown hackle. The white wing would be easy to see after dark.
