Michigan Moth
Unverified origin Only Deschaine's own archive card describes the fly and date.
History
Tom Deschaine tied the Michigan Moth in 2014 for night fishing on the Au Sable. It is a general imitation of the small brownish grass and lawn moths that fly from spring into fall.
He found it most useful along cabin-lined stretches, where lights draw moths out over the water. He thought it might also pass for spruce moths.
