Royal Bee
Unverified origin Only Deschaine's own archive card; no column for this fly was found.
History
Tom Deschaine designed the Royal Bee in 2007 as a searching fly for the dead weeks of late summer, when trout are not rising to a hatch. It borrows the bee colors of his Bee Visible and the mallard wing and red tail of the Royal family of attractors.
He fished it in feeding lanes and pocket water.
