Ted's Brook Trout
Likely origin Rainy's Flies lists it under Ted Kraimer's designs, which confirms the designer; the date and design story come only from Kraimer's own site.
History
A plain, lightly dressed streamer that suggests a small brook trout, a common meal for big browns in Michigan's smaller rivers. Kraimer presents it as a deliberately old-fashioned alternative to bulky modern streamers, fished on a short sink-tip or on a floating line with mends so it hangs in the holding water.
Rainy's Flies sells it commercially under his name.
