modern Michigan dry fly · 2005 to 2009
Weed Seed
Unverified origin Only the Michigan Dry Flies archive describes the fly; Schultz and his shop are public, but the pattern was not found.
History
The Michigan Dry Flies archive credits the Weed Seed to Mike Schultz of Schultz Outfitters in Ypsilanti, tied as an all-purpose searching dry sometime between 2005 and 2009.
Schultz owns and guides out of Schultz Outfitters, but no public page describing this particular fly was found, including the Fly Anglers Online page the archive mentions.
