Winnie's Gray Stone

Unverified origin Winnie's career is documented, but no public source links him to this pattern.

History

The Michigan Dry Flies archive credits this larger stonefly to Art Winnie, the Traverse City barber behind the Michigan Hopper, as a match for the golden stoneflies of summer.

No public source found describes the fly, so the dressing and the attribution still need checking.
